Dan Rogan, President

Mr. Rogan is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received his BA degree in Organizational Communications. He has been active in insurance recruiting since 1987 and in Mergers and Acquisition search since 1994. Mr. Rogan has written articles on both recruiting and sales which have been published in Underwriter's Report and Business Insurance Magazines, and has been quoted in Best Review. He also was a guest speaker at the Marsh Berry Insurance Agents Conference. He is a member of the PIA (Professional Insurance Association) of Los Angeles and Orange County, California, PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society), and has been a guest speaker at various local insurance seminars. In 1996, Mr. Rogan joined INS (Insurance National Search) to further expand his recruiting abilities and knowledge of the industry. Currently he is the president and a board member of INS.

John McGraw, Account Manager

As a graduate of New York Marist College, John McGraw began his career in the international department of Continental Insurance Company. With Continental, Mr. McGraw was the manager of the Beijing office and subsequently served four years in Hong Kong in a joint venture with Continental and Jardine Matheson and Company. In 1987 Mr. McGraw was transferred to Newport Beach, California, to open an international office. He entered Insurance Search in 1988.

Janet Vincent, Sr. Consultant

Ms. Vincent brings more than 24 years of insurance industry experience to The Rogan Group. She previously held senior level positions at several Mid-Atlantic Brokerages and possesses extensive Casualty experience in consulting, brokering, servicing and client development in the insurance and risk management arena. Her previous accomplishments include developing captive solutions, self-insurance and alternative funding designs to a myriad of large national associations and complex Fortune 500 clients. At The Rogan Group, Ms. Vincent will head the Executive Search activities in the Insurance Brokerage, Wholesale and Bank owned Insurance Agency areas in the East and Mid-Atlantic Region.

Leonard Levin, Sr. Consultant

Mr. Levin has over thirty years of production experience in the L&H field, with carriers such as Lincoln National. Mr. Levin attended the University of Baltimore, and his Life Production background focused on the Mid-Atlantic Region. Mr. Levin entered the Search Industry in 2000, and currently focuses on both L&H and P&C Projects…as well as M&A Searches.

Neil Huson, Sr. Consultant

Mr. Huson joined the Rogan Group after retirement from Marsh Inc. where he served as sales manager, healthcare practice leader and client executive. As healthcare practice leader he was responsible for insurance and risk management consulting to major healthcare providers and life science corporations.

Mr. Huson served as branch manager and sales manager for Johnson & Higgins prior to their acquisition by Marsh Inc. In these positions he was responsible for profit center results, personal new business production and the leadership of the sales and client executive staff. Prior to management positions he served as casualty executive for major clients. Additional experience includes agency ownership and claims management. At the Rogan Group, Neil will serve retail insurance brokerages, intermediaries and bank owned agencies in the Southeast. He will assist the Rogan team with clients in the Southwest.

Shell Simonson, Sr. Consultant

As a graduate of the University of Arizona, Ms. Simonson began her career in public relations and marketing. She joined the insurance industry in 1996 in order to apply her communications skills in developing a nationwide specialty professional liability insurance program for retirement, health, and other employee benefits professionals. Her accomplishments include management of a Lloyd's of London binding authority including program underwriting, writing a "Professional Liability Insurance" Q&A on the industry recognized website, BenefitsLink.com, editing of a quarterly newsletter, The Benefits Professional, as well as representing the firm at industry conferences and speaking on benefits liability issues.

Beth Carson, Sr. Consultant

Mrs. Carson comes to The Rogan Group with a BA in History and over 30 years experience in advertising, marketing, direct sales and sales management, where she attained VP and Senior Management positions prior to relocating. While originally joining The Rogan Group's Research Division, she now acts as Senior Recruiter in the Pacific Northwest, Utah and Colorado.
